Deputy Chief William Donnelly
Deputy Chief Donnelly is the Chief of Staff and acts as the immediate assistant to Chief Bordi. He oversees the Operations and Administration Divisions to assure proper performance of Departmental functions. He ensures the Command Staff performs properly and implements the orders, policies and procedures passed down by the Chief. He assists the Chief with budgeting, analysis, and Departmental logistics.
Deputy Chief Donnelly supervises the Department’s social media platforms, Public Information Office and the Professional Standards Unit / Internal Affairs Unit. He has been the Deputy Coordinator of Office of Emergency Management for Voorhees Township since 2008. He is responsible for maintaining and enforcing the New Jersey State Disaster Laws and assisting the Chief with the state approved Voorhees Township Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) which coordinates activities to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
Deputy Chief Donnelly graduated with honors from the NJ State Association of Chiefs of Police
West Point Leadership and Command School and is certified as a NJ Certified Public Manager (NJ CPM).
