Chief Louis Bordi
Chief Bordi is the 5th Police Chief in the Departments 50 plus year history. He is the chief executive officer and the final Departmental authority in all matters of policy, operations, and discipline. He has the administrative responsibility for the protection of lives and property in Voorhees Township through the supervision of all police functions. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to the planning, organizing, and supervising of personnel and activities associated with the Department.
He directly supervises the expenditures of annual appropriations and prepares an annual budget. He is the Emergency Management Coordinator for Voorhees Township and confers with the Township Committee and the Public Safety
Director on a regular basis.
Chief Bordi is a graduate of the 215th session of the FBI National Academy and has a Master Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is an active member of the Camden County Chiefs of Police Association and the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.
